Some celebrities have come forward letting the world know, via social media, that they are positive for Covid-19. Stars such as Idris Elba, Prince Charles, Tom Hanks, Andy Cohen, Donovan Mitchell and more have turned to Instagram to let their fans know that the virus is a real thing.
The question is: Are these celebrities posting just to hype the Coronavirus pandemic? Granted, there are real cases of people dying due to the virus. But, do these celebrities actually have the virus or are they "doing it for the gram"? Most of the stars, who came out through social media, are not showing any symptoms and look perfectly normal.
These celebrities were tested positive for the virus but do not have symptoms, whereas, over 1,000 death cases around the world have surfaced due to the virus. Rapper. Cardi B believes that celebrities are receiving money for disclosing that they are Covid-19 positive. It's confusing to the public to see these celebrities showing none of the symptoms, while regular working citizens who have the virus have been quarantined in ICU beds.
Celebrity fashion stylist, Meave Reilly went on Instagram live with girlboss and explained that she tested positive for the virus a couple of hours ago. The stylist claimed that she went to get tested when she lost her sense of taste and smell (didn't know those were symptoms for the virus) and felt fine. She also explained that she had to let everyone she knew know that she has the virus and quarantine herself for 14 days.
