As you know there is this virus called COVID-19, better known as the "Coronavirus", that's trying to eat half of our population alive!! We are supposed to be socially distancing ourselves, via our president, and I never realized that most of us have been social distancing all our lives?! I'm here like I do this on a regular!
However, I've been dealing with this Coronavirus pandemic in a calm manner... until... Ms. Anna Wintour announced that the 2020 Met Gala, which happens every year (no exceptions) on a beautiful Monday in May, will be postponed. The theme for the 2020 Met Gala was "About time: Fashion and Duration" Who would've thought that fashion would have to suffer like this???? Clearly, this is not a normal year.
Not only is the Met Gala post-poned, but according to WWD, many retail stores have closed their doors temporarily to the public such as Nike, Urban Outfitters, Under Armour, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co., and many more.
I wish this would be over...
