ARE WE MAKING CLEAR BAGS AND SHOES A THING THIS SUMMER?

I am not the biggest fan of clear bags but I do love me a good ankle boot! The thing is, clear bags aren’t my style. In my previous post, you probably read that I carry a lot of my personal belongings with me everywhere I go. So, I’m not too fond of walking around with a bag where someone can see my Ramen Noodles and Tampons (lol)
As far as clear shoes.... you know I’m from Miami where the sun is on your neck 24/7! You think you won’t see fog in those clear ankle boots?? And honestly, it’s not cute. So, my advice would be that if you’re going to wear clear heels, please let them be open-toed heels. It’s also humid here so you’ll thank me later. If you're in a cool climate, then you can get away with the clear ankle boots.
I mean the only reason why this came across my mind today is because I seen a cute clear purse at Swagg Boutique. I was debating if I should get it or not.
I don’t know y’all, it’s different and cute but I think I’m waiting on a new creative direction of clear bags in the fashion industry. Then, maybe, just maybe, I’ll consider buying one.
In the mist of me writing this blog, a woman walked into the boutique with a clear tote! I literally jumped up and asked her if I can take a picture of her wearing the tote and let me tell you it was a cute purple coordination with her outfit.
She also told me that her daughter has a blog as well called Fancy Chat Blog where she discusses financial literacy as well as how to budget your finances, so you guys should go check her out. Welp! Folks there you have it, I guess clear bags are still a thing for some people this summer.
Below, I'll post some cute clear shoes and bags that caught my eye!
1. Stella McCartney Transparent PVC Ankle Boots
These ankle boots can be brought on FarFetch, where they're having an 60% off sale on these beauties. Instead of the usual block heel, this Stella McCartney ankle boot has a stiletto heel that gives it that exquisite look and sassy feel to it.
2. STAUD Shirley Bag
A bag within a bag! One thing I love about this bag is the handle design, it allows that firm hold and it corresponds with the color of the mini bag inside. This type of clear bag has been in the spotlight lately, many designers from Maison Boinet to Prada has been making these bags relevant for this summer.
3. Alexander Wang Nova Slingback
This shoe is what I mean by a clear open-toed heel. These Wang heels are super cute and sassy with the clear strip at the front of the shoe. Now, these beauties with some cute high-waist skinny jeans would be super cute. I love the studded detailing around the heel as well.
4. ASOS DESIGN Hayward clear heel mule in pink
These are also cute and summery (that is a word don't do it!) lol but yes, pink is also my favorite color so I might have to actually buy these. Calling all the girls that have the spunk and upmost confidence... THESE ARE FOR YOU! DON'T FOLD! COME THROUGH!
5. Studio 33 Bea Shopper Tote
So, this tote is like a offspring of the Vinyl bags that you've probably seen lately and you know what? I actually like it. It's unique and it adds a little spice to the typical vinyl bags, it also seems light in weight, very much SUMMERY (haha).
