Twenty-six environmentally conscious labels such as: LemLem, Mother of Pearl x BBC Earth, Maggie Marilyn, Stella McCartney, and so many more have been accepting and open to the practice of environmental sustainability under Net-A-Porter!

These brands not only incorporate materials and methods that are animal and earth friendly, but do so on an international scale as they reduce their fashion carbon footprint.

The accidental label, LemLem, was founded by model now entrepreneur, Liya Kebede who was inspired by the Addis Ababa marketplace weavers as they created habesha kemis.

Some of the Mother of Pearl x BBC Net Sustain pieces has an Asian flare that’s clean and chic with an elegance that speaks of koi ponds and water lillies. Which easily reminds their customers about the label´s contributions to the Net Sustain bond. This is what connects all of these brands together.

None of these brands cut their expectations of high fashion to be branded as sustainable. Net-A-Porter had a need and they fulfilled it with ancestral weavings, Asian traditions, and 60s glam.

What is more fashionably sustainable than that?
