As you know Queen Bey's ‘Homecoming’ documentary premiered April 17th and a surprise live album of her Coachella 2018 performance was also released. I must say this live performance album is one of my favorites after “I Am...World Tour“ live album.
The costumes were of unique designs, especially for the opening of her performance where she wore custom Balmain from head-to-toe styled by one of my favorite stylist Marni. As Beyonce said in her documentary, "every detail of fabric has an intention" and the designs of the looks definitely proved it!
The documentary was premiered on popular media site Netflix. Apparently, Beyoncé was offered a 4 million dollar deal for the Coachella performance which was less than what Ariana Grande was offered but took on a three-part project with Netflix that included the Homecoming documentary that all together is worth a good 60 million! This was mind-blowing because that was just pure entrepreneur skills!
In the documentary, it showed the performance and behind the scenes snippets with Beyonce voice-over throughout the film. I think me and everyone who was tuned in can unanimously agree that we all want Beyonce work ethics! Everything that she put into the performance, the effort, the time, the dedication. Especially, after having twins while having body complications and still she was able to make this performance come to life!
My favorite part is seeing all of the dancers and musicians rehearse together and genuinely and having natural vibes with her! I feel having a pure connection with your team can definitely produce successful results in the end. You can even tell during the performance that everyone was in tune and wanted to be a part of the experience. I’m super excited about the remaining projects that is expected to release soon. I’m sure we will be seeing more of Beyonce in the summer of 2019.
