Eventually we would need all those physics classes someday right? Iris proved it with a collection that was created from physics, alchemy, and computer programming. With the help of kinetic sculptor, Anthony Howe, the 'Hypnosis' collection was all about nature and connections of its systems.
The interesting technique that Iris used for this collection was the Japanese ink-on-water technique of suminagashi. This created a print of lines that she heat bonded to Mylar (which is a polyester film that is used for chemical and dimensional stability) and laser-cut in a complex of ways.Of course, if you were sitting front row, you've probably experienced, first-hand, the hypnosis effect.
