When Nicki seen a tweet from a Twitter user showing the significant decrease in ratings BET Awards has gotten since 2015, she had a few words to share...

Now, we all know by now that majority of the things we find on Wikipedia are almost false and has been edited by hundreds of people. But let's be real, do people still tune into BET like that anymore? I'm talking about where TV stayed on BET from evening to night daily? I don't think so.

Over the past few years, there's been a declination in ratings for the show. After a switch of management and newly-pitched shows, BET has lost its rather "home audience". Honestly, the network has become so fabricated til it's not original like it used to be. The first year where we see the decline in ratings, in which at the time was a tremendous surprise for the network, was in 2015. Many viewers disappeared after the iconic and legendary show, that most of us grew up on, (*raises hand*) 106&Park was canceled. There seemed to be "hope for a better tomorrow" in 2016 but, that victory didn't last for long once 2017 came around.

Tyler Perry at the BET Awards 2019

Those who were tuned in to the BET Awards might have witnessed Tyler Perry adding to his award speech that he has joined the BET family. His works for adding "BET+", which will be an online video-on-demand subscription, is already in effect and is set to launch in the fall of 2019. This online streaming platform will feature all of Tyler Perry's TV comedies, plays, and movies.

Hopefully, in a way, this will save the ratings and boost for an increase for the network.
