Paris Fashion week meets the Olympics.

Girls, we were always told to act lady-like in a dress..... well Virgil Abloh changed that during Paris fashion week with his 2019 Off-White women's "Track and Field" collection.

A lot of the looks featured graphic street wear t-shirts, lime python skin sets, cycling shorts, running tops, and a red carpet inspired gown that was 200 meters of ruffled organza!

Track and Field Athletes Katarina Johnson-Thompson (left), English Gardner (middle), and Nafissaton Thiam (right) were three of the many star athletes who walked in the show. This was the perfect touch to making this 'ath-leisure' inspired collection come alive.

Of course Off-White has been in collaboration with Nike for a while, but this collection took their design relationship to the next level. Even though there is controversies concerning the brand, that didn't stop Virgil's execution of the collection.

The "Queen" collection that was made exclusively for Serena Williams was the inspiration behind this collection. It definitely aligns with Nike's mission which is for every athlete to make their brand the primary choice to wear when they're performing. Seems like we will be seeing a lot of Off-White for the Olympics after all.
