TOPSHOP SOON TO CLOSE ALL U.S STORES

O M G Y'all! Did ya'll hear about this??? Was I the last to find out??! Like what is really going on at this point?? Okay, so according to Elle, Topshop is planning on closing all of their US locations and I was confused but then I found out some news so y'all get the sippy cups lol. I live in Miami so the closest store to me is located in Aventura Mall. For those who are not aware of what Topshop is... it's a clothing brand that carries a few expensive brands as well as clothes from their brand. It's super chic and cute, they carry the House of CB which is a popular brand for their Bandage Bodycon dresses.
THEN!! oh that's not all, THEN, I found out that Beyonce sold Ivy Park to Topshop but then the partnership departed when Bey found out that many of TS staff members were experiencing sexual harassment, bullying, and racial abuse from TS chairman!!!! She announced the split in a press release November 2018. Unfortunately, a lot if business partnerships or deals where women and men are co-existing is where allegations such as this is made the most. I remember in my COM Persuasion class last year, my professor showed a video in class that was on NBC news. It was about women experiencing harassment in the workplace and I never been so disturbed in my life.
Anyway, Beyonce will now partner with Adidas in which she will be reviving her Ivy Park clothing line as a part of the deal. You guys probably seen Adidas post on IG "Beyonce" as well as Beyonce posting sneak peek pics of her at the shoot. I think she made the right decision in closing her partnership with the brand, I mean, I wouldn't want to do business with someone who treats their staff like crap and especially sexually harass them! But, I'm excited for what's to come with the collection and even more glad that she was able to relaunch her brand with Adidas.
As for Topshop, their stores will mainly be located in the U.K and as for us American shoppers we can always purchase their clothes online. At least we don't have to wait in long lines anymore lol. Also, they're having a sale as well.

If you're experiencing sexual harassment whether it's at your workplace, at school, or even at home, please please please let someone know! Write it in a letter, send it in a text, make a anonymous call to 9-1-1, something!! It's important that you let your voices be heard because you do not have to accept it and you do not deserve it no matter what anyone says. Your worth and mental health is more important and the longer you wait to speak out the more damage you are allowing to yourself. I love you all and more importantly remember to love yourselves first.
