“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny” -C.S. Lewis
Imagine working extremely hard on a project; day in and day out. Only to turn in your hard work and be told your work is useless and undesirable. Most people in that situation would feel absolutely terrible, and would probably throw in the towel. Although it may be painful, it is in moments like these when you have to decide whether you will take the average route and quit, or be above average and push through.
Rejection is usually a test of how serious you are about your dream. How bad do you really want it?!
Rather than fearing rejection, learn to expect it, this way it’s not a painful, huge surprise when it happens because after all, it is apart of life. Rejection simply means that you tried; take the criticism if it is constructive, regroup, and keep moving forward. “Never throw in the towel. Use it to wipe off the sweat, then keep going.” The only way you can fail is if you quit.
Moral of the story is, do not take rejection personally, use it as motivation to improve and push harder!
