As some may know, Virgil Abloh has been experimenting with home furniture for a while now. His collaboration"Aqua Alta" collection that featured chairs had an illusion in which they seem sunken into the floor. It was meant to shine light on rising sea levels and climate change. And not to mention, his collaboration with IKEA.
Now Virgil has launched his very own home brand OFF-White "HOME" which focuses on three categories: ceramics, bath, and bed. In the collection, it features a fun pop red throw blanket that has the OFF-White arrow emblem.
Virgil told Vogue, "A lot of what I do is taking the familiar and making it new and that's what we did here" This collection brings more of a bold yet comforting ambiance to a home. One of my favorite pieces from the collection is the pillow covers set, it gives off a pure minimalist vibe.
The "HOME" collection will be available in Off-White's MyKonos Store on August 22nd and at the Empty Empty gallery online on September 1.
