Lizzo, arising pop singer and rapper, shared an emotional, yet, honest Instagram post that had over one million views and even caught the attention of Jada Pinkett-Smith. She spoke on how being emotionally honest with herself has helped her over the past two years. She also explained how seeking for professional help can bring much healing and prosperity.

During her interview with The Breakfast Club, she spoke on being the first person in her family to seek therapy. Lizzo said "We got the answers but I think sometimes it's nice to have someone outside of yourself to help you find those answers, to ask the right questions so you can find the answers within yourself" It also goes back to when the famous Persian poet, Rumi said "The wound is the place where the light enters you" Everything that comes into our mind consciously and unconsciously, has already came with a solution. When you're sad, you're more humble, you're more honest, and you begin to analyze where the pain is rooted as well as what type of triggers it has.

The things that we deal with daily or that we're constantly working towards, already has a blueprint set in place. You have to find your frequency and that's when you start to make wise decisions, meet the right people, create things that will have longevity and value, etc. The thing about mental health is that sometimes you'll have triggers that you'd be totally oblivious to if you haven't found time to deal with them. Whatever it is that you've been through in life, if you haven't fully healed yourself from it, your triggers will come from anything and anyone.

Prime example, mental abuse, a person can say one thing that isn't meant to harm you in any way; but, because you've been in actual situations where that term or a related phrase has hurt you mentally, you'll automatically go into defense mode. Not realizing that how you're reacting is a reflection of the wound that you haven't fully dealt with and healed yet.

In the age of social media, depression and mental abuse are common in many of our youth. As Lizzo stated, "There's no amount of success that can get rid of depression" once it's there IT'S THERE. You have to deal with it, understand it, and be open to healing it. That's why it's important to mentally take care of yourself first, the more you're connected with the inside, the more you'll understand your higher purpose and most importantly understand who you are.

I recommend this one movie to you guys because for one: it's one of my favorites and two: it sends a powerful message that many of us need to hear. It's called "A Wrinkle In Time" , it's truly inspiring and a must-see!
