“The pain you feel today will be the strength you feel tomorrow” -Anonymous
Lets talk about something so amazing and exciting today… PAIN! Said nobody ever! No but really, lets talk about it! According to hopkinsmedicine.org; pain is an uncomfortable feeling that tells you something maybe wrong. Yes, “pain is uncomfortable” in the literal sense. However, when it comes to the journey of life, this is not the case. Yes, there will still be discomfort but, that doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong.
In fact, being uncomfortable can actually be a good thing because it means you’re stepping outside of your comfort zone; and, your comfort zone will kill you.
There‘s so much beauty in pain. Not convinced? Any easy example of this is the life cycle of a beautiful rose. Before the rose can be beautiful, it comes in the form of a seed and it has to be planted in the dirt. Many of you may be in the “dirt” season of your life right now. This season is dark and it seems like nothing is happening.
However, once the seed is planted, the next step is to water it so it can receive its nourishment and slowly blossom into a beautiful rose. This is called the “watering” season, and it’s so important that we visit this season through our journey. “Nothing worth having comes easy”. If everything comes easily, the reward will not truly be appreciated; or, even worse, when hard times come around (and they will come) you won’t know how to handle the heat and will crumble at the very sight of tough times.
On the other hand, when the process of pain isn't rushed, humility, character, and strength is built. When the reward comes, the victory is so much sweeter because the roots of strength have been planted so deep. Most importantly, the sight of opposition will not frighten you nor cause you to crumble because you know where your strength comes from. Moral of the story, there’s beauty in pain so don’t be afraid to go through the process.
Much love,

Thanks for your comments and personal feedback! I think the most important thing we must focus on is being patient through the process!
You hit it right on the nail! It helps me to remember to keep going till that seed blossoms.
Perfectly said. Going through the process is necessary for healing. 🌹🌹🌹
